Backlinks are links from other websites pointing to yours. The dashboard reports only what its named sources observed. Common Crawl web-graph snapshots support referring-domain counts; page-level link details appear only when separately observed.
Monitoring Your Profile
Compare periodic observations of referring domains. A domain is marked lost only after it is absent from a later completed snapshot. Snapshot coverage is bounded and is not real-time or exhaustive.
Link Quality
OpenPageRank may provide a source-domain score when available. Missing provider data remains unknown rather than zero, and host-level web-graph data does not claim anchor text, link placement, or rel attributes.
