This Cookie Policy explains how Meirra ("we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies to recognize and track your usage of our website. This policy provides information about how we use cookies, why we use them, and how you can control them.

By continuing to use our website, you consent to the use of cookies as described in this policy.

When you arrive at our website through a partner's referral link (a link containing ?ref=), and only if you have allowed Marketing cookies, we store that partner's referral code in a first-party cookie named "partner_ref". The cookie is shared across meirra.com subdomains so the referral is kept when you move between our sites. As a backup we also keep the referral code and the link's campaign tags (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term) in your browser's local storage. Both expire after 60 days. If you do not allow Marketing cookies, nothing is stored and the referral is not recorded.

When a referral is recorded, your browser sends the referral code, the page you landed on, the page that linked to us and the campaign tags to our servers, and we store them with your IP address. We use the IP address only to detect duplicate or fraudulent clicks, on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the partner programme fair. We do not store your browser's user agent. The IP address is deleted after 30 days.

If you later become a Meirra customer, we link the referral to your account and subscription so the partner can be paid their commission. The partner can see the email address of that account, the plan and the dates of the referral, but never your payment details. We keep this link for as long as commission is payable on your subscription and for as long as the law requires us to keep accounting records.
