Inbox Monitoring
Learn how to monitor replies, track conversations, and manage your unified inbox for all connected email accounts.
Getting Started with Inbox Monitoring
Inbox monitoring gives you a single view of every reply across all your connected email accounts. Instead of switching between Gmail, Outlook, and other providers, see all incoming messages in one place. Replies to campaigns and sequences are linked automatically to the original send, so you always have context. Inbox monitoring uses IMAP to sync messages in near real-time, ensuring you never miss a response from a prospect or customer.
Setting Up Inbox Sync
Inbox monitoring activates when you add IMAP credentials to your email account. Go to Email > Accounts, select an account, and enter your IMAP host, port, username, and password. For Gmail, use imap.gmail.com on port 993 with an app password. For Outlook, use outlook.office365.com on port 993. The platform tests the connection and begins syncing incoming messages immediately. Only replies to emails sent through the platform are tracked — your personal inbox remains private. You can enable or disable inbox sync per account at any time.
Inbox Features
The unified inbox organises replies into conversation threads grouped by contact. Each thread shows the full history — your original email, the recipient's reply, and any follow-ups. Filter your inbox by account, campaign, sequence, or date to find specific conversations quickly. Mark messages as read, starred, or archived to keep your inbox organised. When a contact replies to a sequence, that sequence automatically pauses for them so you can respond personally. Reply directly from the platform to keep the conversation flowing without switching to your email provider.
